mmmm
hard choice

It really depends on whether or not mom is abusive and/or how long you think your dating relationship is going to last.

But I guess, after you pull them from the rubble in place of your own mom, they better stick with you for life.

That is the thing, trust. Who do you trust more? The mother who birthed you or your partner in relationship? :P Of course it is a hard one, every one who is in 'love' expects this to last a lifetime. No one wants to think negatively about it.

Aside from all the expectancies and love for the people involved there is the other side - selfless. You are giving your own safety and probably life in order to save a person. That alone is significant.

Have to be my WIFE (Not GF) over my mother, who doesn't even talk to me at this point since I left the Jehovah's Witnesses about 8 years ago.

I hope your mother realizes it sometime soon Battle. Glad to hear from you man! :) Send my hellos to your Wife too! :)

I'm fairly certain that my bf/gf could handle themselves in a fire. ~_^
And Kafai has a good point--blood's for life. :)
